研究テーマ

がんに対する免疫応答の解析。CAR導入T細胞による固形がん治療モデルの作成。乳がん転移における腫瘍間質の免疫応答の解析。

プロフィール

京都大学大学院理学研究科博士課程（1990）、理学博士、中外製薬（1990-91）、東京大学医科学研究所（1991-2000）、三重大学大学院医学系研究科（2000-）。
京都大学大学院時代は動物学教室にて村松繁助教授、稲葉カヨ助手の指導のもの、マクロファージの抗原提示細胞機能に対するGM-CSFの修飾作用で学位を取得。中外製薬時代はミクログリア（脳のマクロファージ）の抗原提示機能を解析。東大医科研に異動し、IL-12産生機構のメカニズムを明らかにした。三重大では、環境因子（環境化学物質、紫外線）による免疫修飾作用を、抗体産生、アレルギー疾患、抗腫瘍免疫応答、移植免疫応答の面から明らかにした。その後、がん免疫応答におけるT細胞や腫瘍随伴マクロファージの働きを明らかにしようとしている。
